MI MADRID

Post available in English and Romanian
Ma intorc la tine iar si iar … Madrid drag. I come back to Madrid again and again. The Spanish capital is the only city from the many I’ve visited that “tricked” me into coming back. I could almost say it’s my second home. This time, I had a specific purpose: the Champions League game between Real and Borussia Dortmund. The final score was 2-2 and Real Madrid finished second, but it was no reason to be upset, the match was spectacular on the field and in the stands. For the first time ever, I was part of the Real Madrid choreography. Need I mention that I ‘m already missing Madrid? This is how I’ve seen from the stands the player’s pre-match training session, the choreography and the joy after the home team’s goals.

VIENNA, TAKE TWO

Post available in English and Romanian
Vienna‘s main attraction, the Schonbrunn Palace was the first destination on our list. In the summer, the gardens transform the surroundings in a paradise, but the view was spectacular even during the winter. The famous “Schonbrunn yellow” made it seem like there’s no winter at all, just a warm spring. Also, here at Schonbrunn, you can visit the world‘s oldest public zoo.We never got to visit all the museums.  We had time to see Albertina, – the museum of classical graphic arts, and what a good choice that was! We remained captured by the arts and proceeded to Leopold Museum, for a round of modern art. For a change of theme, do not miss the Museum of natural history. It’’s worth visiting! We also toured Mozart’’s residence, took a walk by the Rathaus (city hall), and walked by the Austrian Parliament Building. While in Vienna, don’’t miss St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the gothic church that can be found in the center of the town. That concluded out fast – tour of the city.

FROM CROATIA TO MONTENEGRO

Post available in English and Romanian
Cat timp am stat in Dubrovnik, mi-am facut timp sa vizitez si Muntenegru. Am ajuns in doua orase reprezentative pentru ei: Kotor si Budva. During my stay in Dubrovnik, I’ve took some time to visit Montenegro. I headed toward two popular destinations: Kotor and Budva. A day isn’t enough to visit everything, but it’s a start. Don’t miss this trip, Montenegro has an amazing history and unforgettable views.

THE MEMORIES COLLECTOR

english version below
🙂 Most people collect something: stamps, coins, rocks, beer cans, dolls, and so on. I collect fridge magnets. One from every place I’ve visited. I also received a few from my traveling friends, so my collection is getting bigger and bigger. What will happen when I’ll run out of fridge space? 🙂

REVIEW: MY STAY IN DUBROVNIK, CROATIA

Post available in English and Romanian
I stayed in Dubrovnik at a dreamy hotel, Excelsior, with a perfect sea view, located at a walking distance from the city center. To be honest, I never wanted to leave this place. We had a room with a sea view in the old part of the hotel.
