REWIEW: TRATTORIA BUONGIORNO

Incet-incet descopar ca imi place foarte mult sa va scriu despre … mancare. Asta si pentru ca sunt gurmanda de cand ma stiu. Cu greu ma convingea mama in copilarie sa nu mananc toata ciocolata intr-o singura zi si sa pastrez si pentru restul saptamanii. Principiul e simplu: “Traieste clipa”. Ma bucur pe moment de ce am si daca nu imi ramane si pentru mai tarziu … pai atunci asta e. Macar am fost fericita mai devreme.

Sa trecem deci, la fapte. Saptamana trecuta mi-am delectat papilele gustative la Trattoria Buongiorno (de pe Lascar Catargiu).

Am incercat Ravioli rosso con Buratta in traducere libera: Ravioli proaspete, muguri de pin, smântână dulce, parmezan. Buuunnnn rau de tot, iar sosul de smantana a fost perfect, nu a ingreunat deloc preparatul.

I’m just realizing that I love to write for you about … food. It’s because I’ve been a food lover since I can remember. In my childhood, my mom could barely get me to save a piece of chocolate for the next day. It’s really easy actually: I prefer to live in the moment and enjoy what I have now. If I don’t save some for later … it’s not a loss. At least I was happy while it lasted.

Let’s get down to business. Last week I’ve delighted myself with some delicious food at Trattoria Buongiorno (located on Lascar Catargiu Street).

We’ve tried Ravioli Rosso con Burrata: Fresh ravioli, pine nuts, cream, parmesan. Reallyyyyy tasty. The cream sauce was just right, not heavy at all, just a delight with the rest of the ingredients.

Si portia de Penne al forno a fost super buna (Penne, ciuperci proaspete, bacon italian afumat, mozzarella Galbani, parmezan, sos de roșii Cirio ), dar eu eram cu gandul la portia de ravioli, care a fost cu adevarat speciala. Asadar, 1-0 pentru portia de ravioli. The other dish,  Penne al Forno ( Penne, fresh mushrooms, smoked Italian bacon, Galbani mozzarella, parmesan, Cirio tomato sauce) was super tasty, but my mind kept returning to the special ravioli. In the end, the ravioli dish wins from my point of view.

Vinul casei rosu a mers perfect cu cele doua preparate. Si evident ca am lasat loc si pentru desert. Tiramisu si Crespelle dolci con crema al mascarpone e canella (Clătite cu cremă de mascarpone și scorțișoară). Aici imi e greu sa aleg un preparat castigator, avand in vedere ca gustam pe rand, cand din unul, cand din celalat. Pentru o experienta pe care nu o mai gasiti si in alte locuri, va recomand insa clatitele. Buon appetito! The house wine (red) was a good choice for the two dishes. And obviously, we’ve also left room for dessert. Tiramisu and Crespelle Dolci con crema al mascarpone e canella (crepes filled with mascarpone and cinnamon). I find it hard to pick a winner because I kept going back and forward between the two delicious desserts. But for a unique experience, I recommend the crepes. It’s the only pace I’ve eaten something like that. Buon appetito!
